A solo tabletop RPG with an AI Game Master.

No group to gather, no session to schedule. Auferet's AI Game Master runs the world, plays every NPC, tracks your character, and rolls the dice, so you can play a tabletop RPG on your own, whenever you want.

Or jump straight in, no setup:

Free to play in your browser and on Android. The full memory system is on every plan, including free.

Auferet lets you play a tabletop RPG solo, with an AI as your Game Master. It narrates the world, voices every NPC you meet, tracks your stats and inventory, and resolves the dice, the things a human GM would do for a table. The difference is there is no table to coordinate. You play at your own pace, on your own schedule, and the campaign is always there when you come back.

Solo is the default in Auferet. It is just you and the Game Master. If you ever want company, you can invite friends into the same adventure and take turns together, but you never have to.

What the AI GM handles

Everything a table needs, run by the AI

🎭

Runs the world and the NPCs

The Game Master narrates each scene and plays every character you meet, with their own voice and motives.

🎲

Rolls the dice

A built-in dice roller resolves checks and outcomes, so you do not need a physical set or a separate app.

📋

Tracks your character

Stats, inventory, traits, and conditions are kept and updated as you play, so you can focus on the story.

🕐

Plays on your schedule

No session to plan. Play for five minutes or an evening, then pause and return whenever you like.

🧠

Remembers the campaign

People, places, and events stay in memory, so a long solo campaign keeps its continuity.

👥

Invite friends if you want

Solo by default, but you can bring friends into the same adventure and take turns in real time.

FAQ

Solo tabletop RPG with AI, answered

Can I really play a tabletop RPG solo?

Yes. The AI Game Master runs the scene, plays every NPC, tracks your stats and inventory, and rolls the dice, so you can play a full RPG on your own.

Do I need a group or a human GM?

No. The AI is your Game Master. No group to schedule, no human GM needed. You can invite friends later if you want.

Can I play whenever I want?

Yes. No session to coordinate. Play a little or a lot, pause, and pick it back up anytime.

Is it free?

You get 10 free credits to claim every day, with every feature. Unlimited actions start at $10/mo.

Can I use real system rules?

Yes. There are dedicated 5e and Pathfinder 2e modes with stat tracking and a dice roller.

Does it remember my solo campaign between sessions?

Yes. Your characters, places, and choices carry forward in persistent memory, so a solo campaign stays consistent session to session instead of resetting.

What kinds of solo adventures can I play?

Any genre: fantasy, sci-fi, horror, mystery, cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic, slice of life, or your own homebrew. You describe the world and character, and the AI runs it, from a dungeon crawl to a lone-survivor story.

How do I keep a long solo campaign safe?

Export it. A solo campaign lives in the browser you play it in rather than on a server, so clearing site data would take it with it. Exporting downloads a world file you can keep as a backup and import again whenever you want, which matters more in solo play because there is no group holding a second copy of the story.

Can I carry on the same campaign on another device?

Yes. Export the world on the device you have been playing on, then import that file on the other one and carry on from where the story stopped. The browser keeps one active world at a time, so import replaces what is currently loaded rather than sitting alongside it.
