How much lore can I upload?

I uploaded a PDF and the Game Master ignored it. What went wrong?
Almost always a scanned PDF. Uploads are converted to plain text, and only real selectable text comes across, so a scan or a page where the words live inside an image arrives empty. Open the file and try to highlight a sentence. If you cannot select it, the Game Master cannot read it either, and the fix is to paste the text into a TXT file instead.
Can I add lore in the middle of a campaign?
Yes. The documents panel is part of the play screen rather than a one-time setup step, so you can drop in a new document once a region or a faction has become important and carry on from the same scene.
Do my uploaded documents travel if I move to another device?
Only if you bundle them. Exporting a world lets you include the uploaded documents inside the export file or leave them out for a smaller one. Bundled documents live in that file rather than in your account, so the file is the thing to keep.
